UFOModeler, a domestic software toolkit for simulating organizational, business and industrial processes, is considered as a tool to increase the efficiency of implementing a quality management system at an enterprise, as well as its maintenance and audit. The article analyzes the problems of development, implementation and certification of a quality management system in accordance with the international standard ISO 9001. The introduction of this standard is due to the important advantages and benefits that it brings to the organization. But it is worth noting that the implementation of the standard does not always help to achieve the intended goals of the results. It is necessary to improve the development and functioning of the quality management system (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 and to support organizations in this process. Thus, we can conclude that the process of effective functioning of the quality management system assumes the availability of appropriate information and analytical support for the organization's business processes. It is proposed to use the method of system-object simulation and a software tool that automates the procedures for constructing and analyzing system-object models of processes and systems as a tool to create and structure information and analytical support.
