NoSQL databases have gained attention due to their ability to efficiently process huge volumes of unstructured and semi-structured data. The authors provide a brief analysis of the key characteristics of NoSQL databases through a partial comparison with classical SQL. This article discusses the benefits of NoSQL technology over traditional SQL databases, such as improved performance, simplified data modeling, increased scalability, and support for distributed environments.
