ABOUT EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH OF SUBBAND PROPERTIES OF EARTH SURFACE IMAGES
The authors present the main formulas for calculating the parts of image energy in given subdomains of spatial frequencies. The authors also present the results of computational experiments in evaluation of subband properties of images, which show that the energy concentration of different images can have significantly different values.
