PREDICTION PLACE IN THE SYSTEM OF CONDITION MONITORING FIBER OPTIC COMMUNICATION LINES
The paper considers one of the options for solving the problem of monitoring the state and building modern fiber-optic transmission systems based on improving existing remote control systems for fiber-optic communication lines. It is proposed to add an analytical software module to the network management system. The basis of this module is a set of functions for a detailed description of events, setting criteria for their detection and setting masks on them in order to detect changes in the trace, predicting the status of monitoring objects. In addition to information about the nature of events, an analytical function is issued that describes a specific event and the measurement error of each of its parameters, which makes it possible to consider the received trace not as a collection of points, but as a set of objects into which it is divided.
